Hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Immediately
Full-Time Schedule: M - F, 2-10 PM or Fri - Sun, 10 PM - 10 AM
Part-Time Schedule: Sat & Sun 10 AM - 10 PM
Function of Position:
To perform basic production duties on an assigned basis in accordance with the established procedures for each area in order to assist in operation and manufacturing of chocolate products. Exercise Good Manufacturing Practices. Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment. Perform cleaning duties. Comply with Company Policy. Follow Safety Rules and Regulations.
Duties of Position:
Duties of position will vary at each plant area and will be performed as assigned by the Manager.
Specific duties may include but are not limited to:
Properly counting and packing chocolate bars into cases.- Inspect bars for any quality issues, such as: damaged, crushed and other defects.
- Wrap and move pallets with cases of stacked chocolate products.
- Manually palletize boxes and materials, if needed
- Record supply inventory as directed and inform management when any of supplies are low.
- Notify managers concerning the need for minor or major equipment repairs.
- Immediately notify on any incidents, accidents, property damage.
- Perform Wet, Dry or Allergen Cleans according to Companys standards.
- Change roller tape, clear jams, feed boxes/liners into equipment
- Monitor and maintain work area clean and organized: clean, sweep, mop, etc.
- Waste removal and proper disposal of waste and recycling materials from work area.
Required: Grade school level and the ability to give and take communications.
Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Some custodial cleaning experience or the ability to be trained and good communications skills.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Ability to pack with required production speed (will train). Ability to understand and read basic operating instructions. Ability to pass Safety/Quality/GMP tests.
Preferred: One year of manufacturing production. Packing, packaging, palletizing experience.

Will Train.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position demands good physical and mental health. The Production Assistant will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and climb ladders and stairs. Ability to stand or sit for continuous period of time (more than 6, less than 12 hours). Ability for repetitive bending, twisting and hand packing. Work flexible schedule. Weekend availability required. Must be able to move continuously during work hours and ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Must possess the ability to see and hear at normal levels.

Must be able to communicate effectively with the Manager. Employee will work scheduled shift, as directed, to meet existing and changing needs of the Operations Department. Work location and shift schedules will change from time to time depending on production requirements established by Operations department. Must be reliable and responsible and maintain good attendance. Must have ability to work in a team environment.
