The SiteOne Operations Excellence Department is searching for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is a high-potential, high aptitude, and detail-oriented individual seeking an exciting and dynamic experience. This position will play an integral role in the highest priority operations projects. The projects tend to be cross functional in nature. This individual will work across multiple internal operational teams and liaise with other SiteOne functional and field teams.
Responsibilities:
- Part of a team of analysts with overall responsibility for supply chain on-demand analytics, providing business recommendations, and supporting cross functional teams to scope problems/opportunities, develop potential solutions, and reach consensus on the path forward
- Proactively analyze data to identify areas of opportunity and provide business recommendations
- Develop and deliver robust weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics that cover supply chain financial, inventory, and service level measures against stated goals
- Develop and deliver self-service reports for business users
- Play an integral role in the development, implementation, and execution of broader supply chain business intelligence and analytics strategy
- Ad hoc data analysis
Must Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in business related field or computer/information science
- 1-2+ years of working experience
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Polished written and verbal communication
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workload and communicate timing and challenges
- Desire to “roll up your sleeves”, disaggregate complex problems and simplify into executable solutions
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire
