BY PRODUCTS OPERATOR Job at Sanderson Farms, Inc.
Major Responsibilities:
- Loads By-Product truck.
- Keeps screen washed down on shaker.
- Pumps blood.
- Turns water on and off for plant drain.
- Loads truck correctly so it is not overloaded.
- Maintains clean and orderly rendering facilities.
- Operates Raw Bin Dumper.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
III . Position Requirements:
- In addition to meeting the basic qualifications for new employees, the employee must also meet the following qualifications:
- Able to work in various temperatures.
- Able to work in cold, wet, and humid environment.
- Able to bend stoop, reach, grasp, twist, and kneel.
- Able to lift 40lbs or more, utilizing proper lifting techniques.
- Able to work in noisy and dusty environments.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Tolerate exposure to chemicals within OSHA limits.
- Able to wear all required PPE.
