Sentinel is currently seeking a Cabling Design Technician to join our team in the field. This individual will be traveling to client sites and handling multiple low voltage design projects. The ideal candidate will have wireless experience working with access points and fiber optic layout and design. You will be designing and mapping out new pathways and crawling in attics and small spaces for the design of wireless access points and fiber optic runs. This candidate will also be designing A and C card electrical work. This is a Direct Hire opportunity based out of Downers Grove, IL and traveling throughout the city of Chicago, IL.

• Must have extensive cabling experience and the ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Must have low voltage experience including; access points, fiber optics and copper design
• Experience designing new cabling pathways (i.e., 4000 series raceway and conduit)
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be comfortable carrying and climbing ladders
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs independently and up to 150lbs with assistance.
• This position requires you to be able to stand, squat, climb and lift from floor to waist and from waist to over shoulders on a regular basis.
• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
