The Depot Cafe at Graham Central Station’s mission is to give back to the community through providing quality food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. We serve all kinds of coffee beverages, sandwiches and ice cream. Our main attraction is the kids train which operates outside seasonally! We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 8am-3pm and closed Mondays (hours will increase in the summer).

We are looking to hire a part-time and year-round lead employee, preferably someone with barista, sandwich, and ice cream experience. However, we are willing to train the right candidate for the position. At The Depot, each of our employees jump in where help is needed, which means sometimes you’ll be ringing customers out at the register, other times you’ll be making a latte, grilling a panini or blending a milkshake.

Starting wage is $10.00/hour plus tips!

To qualify for this role, an ideal applicant is reliable, trustworthy, cleanly, personable, and friendly. We are a small and humble team of diligent individuals with a positive demeanor. It is crucial to the success of the cafe that we work together harmoniously.

General Responsibilities and Duties:

• Arriving to work on time in clean, work-appropriate clothes
• Greeting guests with a smile and welcoming them as they enter the cafe
• Showing guests the menu and mentioning any food/beverage specials
• Entering orders into our POS system
• Preparing menu items efficiently (including espresso/coffee beverages, sandwiches/paninis, & ice cream/milkshakes, etc)
• Maintaining clean and well-stocked work spaces
• Wiping down tables and sweeping the floor as guests leave
• Communicating with coworkers clearly and easily
