We’re looking for a Volunteer Development Coordinator.

● Assist in Development and Coordination for organizing and executing fundraising efforts for a nonprofit organization. They develop fundraising plans, participate in solving logistical issues and collaborate with multiple colleagues and departments.

● At least one year of sales experience. Bonus if you have software sales experience.

● The role prospects and qualifies leads in assigned regions for our partners and clients.

● Sales Experience Preferred (Software sales (Saas) and/or b2b sales a plus).

● Occasional travel to represent UUS at Regional or national Events.

Fundraising
We are seeking a bright and creative Development Coordinator with a can-do attitude to join our dynamic development team.

He/she/they will support all administrative functions critical to the success of the agency including day-to-day database management, event data management and support of the Executive Team..

How You'll Be Successful:

● Maintain the donor database and additional donor tracking systems
● Assist the department with the administration and execution of all events

● Partner with the Accounting department in maintaining and reconciling financial records
● Collaborate with different agency departments and lay leaders to enhance all fundraising endeavors
● Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters and other correspondence in a timely manner

● Assist with prospect and grant research as needed
● Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

UUS seeks to research, write and submit federal, state and foundation grants annually on behalf of the Organization. This individual will establish collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at the inst to determine their needs for funding and to research external grants opportunities that meet those needs. This individual will also conceptualize, design and write viable grant proposals jointly with internal principal investigators and department representatives. This individual will also assist in grants management, data collection and support when awards are received.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work internally with key stakeholders to identify internal funding needs

Collaborates with grants group and relevant grant stakeholders to identify appropriate grants and to prepare grant proposals, including determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and obtaining appropriate approvals

Research external grant opportunities at the state, federal and foundation level.

Create, write and submit successful grant proposals annually on behalf of the institution jointly with internal principal investigators and departments.

Represent the institution to external funding sources and agencies

Update the College regarding grants opportunities and proposal progress.

Remain apace of grant trends, initiatives and opportunities generally.

Report to and work under the direction of the Organization.

Pay: $25,000.00 - $243,139.00 per year
