If you have a passion for safety and compliance this is a great opportunity to grow your career! Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) is seeking a Carrier Compliance and Safety Manager. This is NOT a remote or work from home position and works at our St. Cloud, Minnesota office.

If you enjoy leading people, reducing risk, and building rapport with professionals in the trucking industry we can help! This position will ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations/requirements by monitoring carrier compliance and assisting with loss prevention.

Sounds interesting! What qualifications are needed?

• A firm understanding of the commercial transportation industry with a strong working knowledge of specialty trailers: wind turbine schnable configurations, wind turbine blade trailers, multi-axle configurations, Removable Goose Neck (RGN) stretch and standard, traditional step-deck, flat bed and van trailers.
• Working knowledge of transportation compliance and logistics brokerage agents preferred.
• Must be able to attain a “TWIC” Transportation Worker Identification Credential, card for clearance into maritime ports.
• Basic knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, sales, profit & loss statements, and accounting required.
• Ability to negotiate skillfully in challenging situations with both internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of contract management with brokered carriers. Includes revisions and amendments with all logistics contracts.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
