The Cash Accountant will post cash received from customers against AR accounts, reconcile bank statements to the general ledger and assist leadership on multiple other items in Shared Services.

Responsibilities

• Work in JDE and D365 posting cash against client receivables on a daily basis
• Reconcile cash between bank accounts and general ledger accounts in JDE and D365
• Assist in automation of bank reconciliations
• Assist in automation of cash postings to customer accounts
• Collaborate with cash disbursements team on any reconciling items in the cash accounts.
• Work with Shared Services leadership on weekly reporting
• Assist in audit requests on quarterly basis
• Maintain Cash SOX documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Expertise in Excel, Proficiency in all other Microsoft Office. Experience with JDE or D365 is a plus.
• Full understanding of cash reconciliation process.
• Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and meticulous records.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication.
• Thrives in a fast paced environment and adaptable to change.
