JOB SUMMARY

This is a critical role within the organization, responsible for ensuring day-to-day cash accounting duties are processed timely and accurately, as further described below, and for leading, training, coaching, and demonstrating these and other duties to new cashiers for ongoing process improvement and efficiencies. This position reports to the SVP of Client Services.

SVP, Client Services


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 3-5 direct reports, more as the company grows.
  • Constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Hiring, termination, discipline, onboarding, and training in accordance with company policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the cashiering team, leading, monitoring and ensuring processes are completed while motivating the team for success
  • Ensures complete and accurate Cash Transfer Reporting (CTR) to clients based on due date in SOW and rolling calendar.
  • Ensure complete and accurate ACH request submission to the Bank for CTR Reporting to clients based on due dates in the SOR and rolling calendar.
  • Responsible for ensuring that QB Reconciliation via CTR’s for all clients are clean and reconciled on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for daily Case Management monitoring and completion of tasks, including any internal and external accounting inbox (email). This includes adjustments, refunds, waivers, dispositions of contracts, and any other requests provided.
  • Responsible for reviewing and documenting “as-is procedures” for all major functions performed by the Cashiers.
  • Responsible for documenting, presenting and recommending “to be procedures” for all major functions performed by Cashiers to increase Client Satisfaction, Efficiencies and Workflow, and/or revenue.
  • Month End Closing to include Month End Checklist, completion of Cases, Inbox and all other requests from Orion’s departments.
  • Supports Orion’s Stars and Clients as necessary.
  • Uphold Orion’s Company Culture, Purpose, and Mission
  • Must be able to work late from time to time to ensure daily processes are complete.
  • Must be able to work last on the last business days of the month until all daily/monthly processes are completed.
  • Assigned education courses offered by Orion for leadership and/or management training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Keen attention to detail and auditing experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel, and proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Project management experience or exposure desired
  • Management experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration and five years equivalent business experience preferred.

TRAVEL

  • Potential to visit corporate headquarters as requested no more than quarterly.
