Overview:
LMI is seeking a CBRN Subject Matter Expert to support a DOD client. The position supports analyzing DOD, Military Departments, and Combatant Commands plans, capabilities, requirements, and gaps toward the development of an integrating layered defense strategy. The position will assist a Principal Analyst and will require an Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze supporting documentation, such as plans, readiness assessments, reports, etc.
  • Conduct interviews and inquires to clarify findings from supporting documentation
  • Identify trends and develop recommendations
  • Develop, curate data, and supporting documentation retrieval from different repositories
  • Coordinate Meetings and Secure Video Teleconferences (SVTCs)
  • Preparation of meeting summaries
  • Preparation of briefing decks, assessment documents, and other products
  • Some public speaking and/or presentations required
Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree
  • 10 years of DoD Experience in CWMD/CBRN Defense
  • Experience in capabilities development and/or acquisitions
  • Understanding of current DOD CWMD strategy, policy, guidance, and linkages to ongoing DOD CWMD efforts (operational and acquisition)
  • Familiarity with DOD Architectural Framework (DODAF)
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills necessary to conducting analysis and writing reports to summarize findings
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders in writing and verbally.
  • This position will require an Active Secret security clearance.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience with CBRN organizations
  • Experience at the Service Component, Department, Joint Staff, Combatant Command, or OSD level
  • Military and National Security related experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with CBRN defense technology
  • Experience with Department processes and senior level decision support
  • Working knowledge of capability development and JCIDS process
