Job Title: Hiring Specialist
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $75,000 per year
Location: Houston, Texas
Job Summary:
Our solar company is seeking a talented Hiring Specialist to help us attract and recruit top talent for our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, as well as working closely with our hiring managers to identify our hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates using a variety of recruiting tools, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
- Manage the candidate pipeline, from initial contact through the offer stage, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Partner with hiring managers to coordinate and schedule interviews, provide feedback on candidates, and make hiring decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates, including those who are not selected, to build a strong talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continually improve our hiring processes and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in our applicant tracking system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Proven track record of sourcing and hiring top talent in a competitive market.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, interview techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technology tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
