Class A Maintenance Technician

What you will enjoy doing*
- In this role, you will perform scheduled maintenance on shop equipment and repair shop equipment
- You will ensure that the productivity level must consistently equal the company’s established productivity requirements, as defined by work instructions
- Workmanship must meet the company’s quality standards
- In addition, you will be estimating man hours and material on assigned projects
- Follow LEA safety policies and procedures as outlined in the safety manual
- Also, you will be the backup maintenance leadman, as required
- Follow all principles of Lean 101
- You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others, including but not limited to (forklifts, cranes, tractor trailers, operating machinery, etc.)
What makes you great
- You have four years of applicable maintenance experience and a high school diploma / GED
- Further, you have performed maintenance assignments with minimal supervision
- Electrical, electronic, and mechanical knowledge is required for this role
- Maintenance requirements related to welding equipment, power rolls, overhead & yard cranes, forklifts, power hand tools, and building facilities are needed
- You possess basic air compressor operational knowledge
- Moreover, you must demonstrate the desire to perform in a professional manner as a member of a team, as well as a team leader, to give inputs on activities that will help complete project assignments in a timely and efficient manner while upholding the quality and safety standards
