Classic Car Restorer/Mechanic
- We are looking for an experienced classic car restorer with mechanical know-how to restore, maintain, and repair classic automobiles.
- Strong Mechanical Background
- Previous classic car restoration experience, and auto mechanic experience a must.
Responsibilities
- Restore American & European cars of the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s to original specs.
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately and repair.
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
- Keep logs on work and issues
- Maintain equipment and tools in good order
- Source and order parts.
Skills
- Proven experience as a classic car restorer
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Ability to handle various tools ) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
- Excellent physical condition
