Position Summary:
The TRIA Woodbury CMA Clinical Navigator is responsible for the entire patient clinic visit and upholds all aspects of excellent customer service and patient care at all times. The CMA Navigator will be responsible for the coordination of care for all clinic patients and will interact across the enterprise in order to facilitate necessary services as determined by the Provider. This individual will also utilize broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services and business office practices while providing assistance to providers in accordance with the AAMA and PNHS standards and policies.

The TRIA Woodbury CMA Clinical Navigator will oversee daily clinic flow through Check-in and Co-pay collection processes, standard rooming, history and evaluation, assist with documentation, clinical procedures, after visit education, scheduling of follow-up appointments as well as facilitating overall patient care needs and coordination of care across the enterprise for our patients and families.

This role will also be responsible for ensuring medical orders/care are delivered as delegated by providers and registered nurses in order to support patient care. Quality of care and exceptional customer service are delivered at all times to our patients and families.

Education/Experience:
Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education School (ABHES). One or more years’ experience desirable.

Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses:
Strong clinical and human relation skills are required. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, and maintains standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the AAMA and PNHS. Basic computer/keyboarding/mouse skills required. Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients. Can make autonomous decisions in regards to patient care related issues and be able to make independent decisions based on scope of practice and protocols established with their physician.

Excellent interpersonal, listening, critical thinking and organizational skills. Team player that collaborates to achieve highest outcomes.

Must maintain skill in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

Medical Assistant must be Certified and maintain current Certification or Registration
