About the Role: We are looking for a Clinical Science Liaison (CSL) to join our Clinical Affairs Team. In this role, you will work with functional teams to assist in developing and executing innovative global publication and presentation strategies and plans. The CSL also works with external stakeholders to deliver high-quality publications and presentations.

This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.*

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key business stakeholders to develop and implement a publication and presentation strategy for each product from early feasibility through commercialization
  • Support the publications and presentations of clinical data by internal and external stakeholders through reviewing and documenting of requests, evaluating requests to obtain appropriate clinical data and deliver requested data, guiding the review of clinical data through Gore’s internal review process, and working collaboratively with internal and external customers to understand clinical data needs for a publication or presentation
  • Provide technical expertise in the interpretation of the clinical data
  • Maintain a deep understanding of applicable therapeutic areas
  • Collaborate with thought leaders on scientific activities related to Gore workshops and symposia, investigator meetings, advisory board meetings, and conference presentations
  • Understand and communicate the publication requirements for scientific journals to ensure the delivery of quality documents
  • Actively review Gore clinical data to identify, analyze, and drive associated publications with key partners
  • Ensure that statements and conclusions in publications and marketing materials are supported by appropriate data for Gore products
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory trends as required to meet business needs and perform the responsibilities of the position

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s or higher degree
  • Experience with interpretation of clinical studies, data analyses, and technical writing
  • Clinical research experience
  • Experience with key opinion leader interaction and clinical/scientific presentations
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in the clinical research areas being supported
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills manifested as the ability to express medical information accurately, clearly, and succinctly
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously, which includes dealing with risk and issue management
  • Ability to work independently and within groups by effectively taking ownership, collaborating, and influencing others
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Desired Qualifications:

  • PhD degree preferred
  • Medical Device experience
  • Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. Locations not eligible for new remote work arrangements include: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
