The CSS Specialist will perform daily invoice and monthly account reconciliations for multiple major Fleet Management companies.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Load claim file
- Generate Invoice file
- Reconcile claim and invoice file
- Forward invoice file for payment processing
- Review and correct rejected claims
- Confirm and validate invoice file via electronic transmission
- Research payment inquiries from dealers
- Confirm payment direction with appropriate financial department
- Payment Reconciliation:
- Monthly reconciliations need extreme attention to detail. Candidate must possess the ability to categorize and apply multiple accounting remittances and reformat as necessary. Strong research skills and an ability to track singular payment line lifecycles over multiple accounting periods.
- Participation in OEC operational meetings with OE Management
- Proactive identification of opportunities for claim process improvements
- Support of the FCS team as needed; understand the role and act as the point of contact
- Daily interaction with dealer and fleet customers (phone and e-mail)
- Create summary documents for process compliance and internal and external customer follow-up
- Update internal process flows and desk procedures relating to the entire functional process
What you bring
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
