General Description
Supervises investigations of possible Financial Exploitation in support and fulfillment of the Popular Inc Elder Financial Abuse Policy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Directly oversee and supervise Compliance Analysts conducting financial exploitation investigations to ensure efficient identification and reporting of potential elder abuse. This position will be responsible for reviewing the work product conducted by Compliance Analyst fulfilling the Popular Inc Elder Financial Abuse Policy to provide feedback and insure adequacy and effectiveness of the suspicious activity investigation and reporting. Interact with customers and Popular’ s personnel regarding unusual activity to determine if an appropriate resolution can be reached. Develop and maintain the internal financial exploitation protocol, in conjunction with Litigation & Risk Management Unit. Collaborate in the design of the annual training and support the procedures and policy annual review. Stay informed of current regulatory or legislative trends and issues as it applies to job responsibilities and applies such knowledge into completing daily and periodic tasks in a timely and accurate manner with minimal supervision.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
Experience
At least three to five years related experience in compliance, preferably in banking industry. Must have experience in supervising and evaluating personnel.

- Strong written and oral communication (Spanish and English), as well as good interpersonal skills to manage relationships with business and support unit contacts.

- Time management and organizational skills. Candidate should be able to prioritize tasks efficiently in order to manage and comply with multiple deadlines.
