We are looking for IT Ops Support Special / Configuration Management or Migration Specialist (HYBRID)(Min 2+yrs Exp) (Webcam interviews)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

DIRECT CLIENT Position

Number of positions: 1

Length: 5-17 Months + (annual extensions)

Location: Washington DC 20024

Immediate interviews – Webcam interviews ONLY

Please note that this position is HYBRID. Candidate is required to be onsite one(1) day onsite for every 2 weeks (subject to change in the future).

IT Ops Support Special

The IT Operations Support Specialist shall:

a) Provide technical assistance in all aspects of data processing operations.

b) Work with mainframe and Server applications.

c) Have technical experience in the utilization and implementation of tools to monitor the server and mainframe applications.

d) Have knowledge on how to identify, investigate and troubleshoot error conditions to help remediate system failure conditions.

e) Have understanding of Configuration Management (CM) for software updates and migrations of code.

f) This position may require weekend and or shift work hour

Qualifications:

a) Required Experience of Two (2) years in the following:

1. Configuration Management (CM) for software updates and migrations of code;

2. Software Migration process;

3. Startup of Production Applications & Systems;

4. Microsoft SQL Management Studio & Oracle SQL Developer;

b) Preferred Experience - 2 years minimum:

1. Support Web and Client Server Application

2. Microsoft Office Application Suite (Word & Excel)

3. Computer applications capabilities and limitations of computer

equipment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Washington, DC 20024: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
