Construction Project Manager
for a construction company (National) in Tampa!
Responsible for the administrative and technical management of construction projects, and to function as the point person who drives the project forward. The ideal person should be a self-starter and be able to manage projects with little supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the administrative and technical management of construction projects, and to function as the point person who drives the project forward. The ideal person should be a self-starter and be able to manage projects with little supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proficient in construction job costing: setting up budgets, buy out, forecasting, managing owner and subcontractor contracts and change orders.
- Must be able to develop and maintain a project schedule and be able to supervise up to two projects with individual superintendents on each project.
- Must know how to build and the proper sequencing of work.
- Must be able to conduct meetings with clients, subcontractors, and design teams.
- Knowledge of how to provide QA (Quality Assurance) and QC (Quality Control)
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years related experience in architecture, construction management or a related discipline.
- Extremely Detail-oriented
- Can manage multiple priorities and has strong management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team; minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
- Must know Procore, Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must be able to work weekends (only as needed).
- Must be able to work out of the Tampa office and will travel up to 30% of the time.
