What does success look like?
- Support the manufacturing process with engineering needs- engineering changes/improvements.
- Initiate and implement changes consistent with continuous process improvement.
- Troubleshoot electrical controls problems.
- Maintain weld and plasma cut quality through robot programming and automatic weld instruction
- Develop drawings and specifications for equipment modifications.
- Support factory workers with troubleshooting PLC software and hardware
- Support Shop Floor Workers in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) through training and troubleshooting.
What you will bring:
- 2 year degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology
- 5 years manufacturing troubleshooting and engineering support of automated process(PLC, electrical controls and drives, and power circuits of up to 480 v)
Suggested Skills:
- AUTOCAD
- PLC Software (RSLogix5, 500 and 5000, Siemens S5)
- Robotic software and programming
- Electrical troubleshooting skills
- HMI Software and programming
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to multi-task
