Job Description:
In this position, the candidate will act as primary customer point of contact for inquiries, problem resolution, order entry, quoting, schedule changes, credit issues, warranty administration, web sales administration, and RMA support. The candidate will submit quotes for price and availability of ANKO’s standard products based upon inventory levels or production availability. In addition, they will review all customer purchase orders for production items after resolving specific conditions, process and acknowledge purchase orders with negotiated terms and conditions and advise status of open orders to the customer. They will also be responsible for ensuring that all mutually agreed purchase order requirements, including delivery schedules, are accomplished.
The Customer Service Rep I / Order Management Support’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Essential Functions:
  • Manages customer relationships beyond current business activities by developing relationships with Customers. Will be responsible for all interfaces between ANKO Products and customers regarding Quotation, Purchase Orders, Product Availability and Delivery/Shipment matters. Can manage customer conflict with tact to ensure a win-win solution.
  • Regularly communicate across ANKO’s departments and with our OEM and Distributor network.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, technical support, product management and account management to facilitate sales programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
  • Work with management on the execution of sales strategies against planned forecast.
  • Order Management position.
  • Maintains current customer files and archive files and correspondence greater than one year old.
  • Assists other Customer Service Reps and Order Management Support administrators when required.
  • Provides support to Regional Sales Managers and pro-actively communicates sales activity.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of ERP systems and will become knowledgeable with ANKO’s ERP as it relates to the Order Management function.
  • Ensure international shipping control requirements are being met as they relate to Customer Support and shipment of ANKO’s products.
  • Takes the initiative to improve the way we do business with all Customers. Identify, recommend, and implement innovative process improvements. Ensures SOP’s are adhered upon completion of process improvement projects.
  • Responsible for performing job duties in a manner consistent with established ANKO Products Ethics and Standards.
Qualifications:
  • Requires an Associate degree in Business or a minimum of 2 years of prior related customer experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Excel. Knowledge with developing pivot tables, charts and formulas is preferred.
  • Experience with customer account management systems (CRM/ERP/MRP) and purchase order reviews.
