Customer Service Representative

Contender Boats is seeking a Customer Service Representative that has boat manufacturing experience for the Fort Pierce, FL location. The Customer Service Representative is a very important role at Contender. The CSR serves as the face and voice of our brand to our customers and is responsible for providing a premium experience for our customers as they interact directly with Contender Boats International.

Job Duties:

• Answering all customer service calls and emails, logging them, resolving them and/or routing them for resolution.
• Assisting our social team in customer service-related matters.
• Providing dealer information to customers.
• Fielding general information requests, parts requests, service requests etc.
• Assist in processing warranty claims.
• Assist in part fulfillment.
• Consult with our engineering team to maintain and update Contender FAQ’s, fact sheets and customer data as needed.
• Conduct guest and customer factory tours.
• Opportunities to assist in special events.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time customer service skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete work orders and reports.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the marine industry preferred.
• Two or more years of customer service experience in the marine industry.
