Customer Support Opportunity - NOT a remote position from home!
Seasonal Position - Paid Training
Community Resource Centers (CRCs) are designed to provide visitors a safe location to meet basic power needs (i.e., charging cell phones, laptops, medical devices and have Wi-Fi access, where possible), and provide up-to-date information in neighborhoods and communities when a community-wide power shutoff occurs.
QUALIFICATIONS for Customer Support position:
- Must be able to pass drug check
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Must own smartphone, to download and use multiple company-wide apps
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year of customer service with in-person contact
- Reliable transportation to travel to and from assigned work location
- Ability to work flexible schedules, extended hours, nights and weekends
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Ability to report to work location on short notice (typically 24-48 hours from time of notification)
GOCO Consulting LLC is looking for qualified candidates to serve as Customer Service Support (CSS) staff at Community Resource Centers in designated locations. (work sites may be farther away or in different area). Successful candidates will be added to an ‘eligible to work’ list. While Paid Training opportunities will be provided throughout the year, it is expected that most work assignments will be made during fire season (July-November) and during periods of heavy rain or snow (December-January).
Work would range from 1-10 days with events averaging 2-3 days and will likely include 8-hour shifts and involve working with community members during emergency situations. CSS staff are responsible for:
- Greeting CRC visitors, addressing inquiries and handing out supplies
- Ensuring visitors follow COVID safety guidelines and procedures
- Supporting CRC setup, including setting up signage and supplies
- Recording visitor attendance and inventory counts
- Providing support to Customer Service Lead (CSL) Supervisor
Preferred:
- Ability to travel to sites up to 250 miles away from home
- Fluent in additional languages is helpful
This is NOT a Work from home position
