Key Responsibilities
Job Summary
Data Modeler using ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT Tool from Sparx, with DBA capability on AZURE SQL Server DB.
As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights to the company. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and use data to inform decision-making across different departments. You will also be responsible for creating Data Models, Reports and visualizations to communicate your findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze large and complex data sets using statistical methods and data visualization tools.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and track progress towards goals.
- Identify trends and patterns in data and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive results.
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and share best practices with the team.
- The Business Data Analyst will review and document current data environments, data collection techniques and data quality.
- Follow data governance on how data acquired, manipulated, and distributed.
- Follow the EA data architecture framework, standards, and principles.
Skills Required
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data modeling using Erwin/IDA/ERStudio/EA
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with large and complex data sets.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one programming language.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling is a plus.
- Enterprise data architecture experience
- Understanding of data security and privacy standards, including HIPAA
- Minimum of 5 years of wide-ranging Analyst experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, Technical Science, or related field.
Desired Qualifications (not mandatory)
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Data Science
- Data or Cloud certifications AZURE
- Data Modeler using ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT Tool from Sparx
