Primarily days Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., additional hours as needed.
Job Summary
The Surveillance Investigator conducts active and passive surveillance for HIV cases reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH), for cases receiving HIV medical care in Kentucky, and for cases with a reported residence in Kentucky. Provides completed case reports for data entry/upload regularly into the HIV/AIDS registry. Investigates cases to reduce the number of cases with risks not reported and maintains administrative records. Assesses the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of reporting within the commonwealth on an ongoing basis.
