Steve Shannon Tire Company is a fast growing local tire company with over 30 retail locations and 5 wholesale locations and a retread tire plant. The company was founded in 1988 by Steve Shannon and now operates with over 300 plus employees. The Headquarters is located in Bloomsburg Pa.
Position
Wholesale Tire Delivery Driver
Full time, first shif
8 to 10 hour days Monday - Friday
1 Saturday per month 8am - 12pm
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
1 year minimum delivery driving (Required)
Clean driving record (Required)
Valid driver’s license (Required)
Knowledge of local deliver area, ability to navigate GPS (Required)
Good attitude and honest (Required)
Good communication (Required)
Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds throughout the day (Required)
Punctual and work through entire shift (Required)
Occasional overtime, late day delivery (Required)
Job Description
Load and unload trucks consisting of tires, auto parts, boxes, 55 gallon drums and skids
Drive delivery vehicle to customer locations using GPS
Deliver merchandise accurately and efficiently to customers
Collect signatures, money and checks, display on invoice as paid
Maintain timely schedule and complete all deliveries as planned
Collect returns and write receipt for customer on carbon copy receipt book
