Description of Role This position is responsible for managing key strategic and operational projects critical to maintaining and improving Deloitte University operations. The DU Operations Manager will be responsible for components of the day-to-day operations management, defining project objectives and identifying stakeholders, executing preliminary analyses, developing business cases to support recommendations, and assisting in the implementation of improvement recommendations. Projects will range in complexity and scope, and will be focused on improving operational efficiencies, executing capital improvement, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Facilities/Property Management
  • Manage upkeep and day-one appearance for indoor and outdoor facilities (i.e., walk property, conduct daily assessments and inspections)
  • Manage aspects of daily operations (food & beverage, housekeeping, transportation etc.) and oversee quality and options available to guests
  • Partner with DU Teams to provide guidance on planning and oversight for physical displays and assets on property
  • Maintain knowledge of LEED and WELL Certification requirements and strategies that impact the facilities and property to support overall sustainability priorities

Project Management
  • Manage informal and high-profile projects end-to-end (strategy, plan, approvals, analysis, execution, implementation, etc.)
  • Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders to identify operational priorities and translate them into information and/or high-profile projects
  • Identify and communicate objectives, scope, approach, and detailed actions required to successfully execute and deliver a project / initiative
  • Develop persuasive business cases to drive the implementation of projects and initiatives

Stakeholder Management
  • Review guest feedback and identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiencies to support our platinum-level guest experience
  • Partner closely with Hospitality Operator to define operational challenges and opportunities for process improvement
  • Work with leadership and stakeholders to provide value-added services
  • Foster open communications with quick and accurate responses to project requests

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, facilities/property management or similar in a professional services environment
  • Experience with people development preferred
  • Ability to understand complex issues and translate into implementable solutions
  • Desire to take on challenging projects with high profile stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a consultative style
  • Ability to build consensus and work as part of a results-focused team
  • Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Guest-experience mindset
  • Flexible working style (20% virtual / 80% in-office)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $181,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
