Job Description
Quarterly Multi-Year, Multi-Scenario Forecast (QMMF) Design and Execution team is a critical division of Citi’s FP&A organization, responsible for the successful deliverable of Citi's quarterly Base and Stress forecasted plan. This role will be responsible for providing governance and oversight across production efforts related to the QMMF, act as a liaison between central execution team to Wholesale Risk and Retail Risk workstreams, aid in designing quarterly calendars and process constructs driving towards a target state process design. QMMF is inclusive of Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), Dodd-Frank Act Stress Test (DFAST) program and Citi's Operating Plan.
The successful candidate will collaborate with program teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time, to specification, and risks/issues are escalated in time for corrective actions to the taken to meet the initial deadlines wherever possible. The role is focused on driving delivery and as such, will suit a hands on delivery-focused professional who will be required to work across multiple organizations including Finance, Risk, and Technology. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of Quarterly Multi-year Multi-scenario forecasting, including:
- Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations
- Manage quarterly Execution of QMMF cycles.
- Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes
- Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into finance processes and application.
- Applies in-depth knowledge of the business impact of process design and technical contributions.
- Regularly interacts with peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations.
- Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry highly preferred
- Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.
- Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred.
- CPA preferred
