The ÉLAN ARTISTS Development & Sales Liaison’s primary objectives are to nurture current and develop new relationships within the special events community. The primary geographic focus is New York and the surrounding area including New Jersey, as well as Boston/New England, and Philadelphia/Pennsylvania. The regions will potentially increase to include other areas as well.

Participation in both sales and marketing efforts are to be progressively integrated.

This position will work in our New York office with potential for working on site at events or remote work. The successful candidate should be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally. This position will typically operate during normal business hours of 9AM to 5PM, but with flexible hours to better support your direct supervisor and manage client communications.

Responsibilities

● Respond to incoming inquiries/leads via phone and email for new business opportunities in the local NY market and in all areas as assigned

● Periodically host music showcases at the NY office for prospective clients

● Assist in managing NY office studio rehearsals and showcases

● Network locally and develop relationships with local planners for venue openings and promoting Elan’s services to bring in new, consistent business

● Assemble budgets and draft sales proposals for prospective clients

● Negotiate contracts for talent and other vendors

● Assist with facilitating and organizing headliner inquiries for upper management

● Provide exceptional customer service gathering all client and event related details

● Preparation of client contracts and processing of newly signed and updated clients/contracts

● Attendance at a minimum of 4 promotional events outside of office hours per month

● Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A cool-headed problem solver with a level head in stressful situations
  • Friendly, warm, and helpful personality
  • Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information. Must have excellent personal references.
  • 2-3 years experience in an Administrative or Sales Assistant role
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills & the ability to anticipate the needs of your supervisor
  • Exceptional and precise verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, including warm friendly phone communication
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects, establish priorities, and adjust to rapidly evolving priorities
  • Must possess the ability to self-motivate in a multifaceted, high-pressure environment
  • Strong technical aptitude with excellent typing skills and knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Suites
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is not required but is a plus
  • Technical aptitude with wireless networks, printers, etc. is not required but is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,500.00 - $75,000.00 per year
