Dietary Aide:
Great Opportunity!! Bethany Gardens Skilled Nursing Facility, Rome N.Y. is currently seeking Dietary Aides. Full-time & part time positions available. Schedule may include rotating of weekends, evening shifts or Legal Holiday’s. This is an opportunity to work in a great environment where you can make enhance the quality of life on a daily basis of our wonderful residents!
- We are willing to train candidates who are eager & motivated to learn.
- Salary & benefits are based upon experience.
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred
Position includes but not limited to the following duties:
- Working on Tray-Line
- Preparing of foods for meals & other various events
- Preparing snacks & nourishments for residents according to diet
- Washing of Dishes, pots & pans
- Sweeping & Mopping of floors
- Properly rotating Stock Room items
- Assisting with deliveries as needed
- Ensuring fridge & freezer is appropriately stocked
- Disposing of trash within Facility Guidelines
- Ensure a clean & orderly environment
Requirements:
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred but not a must
- Good communication skills
- Being alert & able to identify issues that may arise
- Appropriate Dress
- Establish & maintain a high level for customer-service
