Dietary Aide/Cook Job at Greenery Center for Rehab and Nursing

- Assists in the preparation of food for residents and visitors including estimated food requirements and requisition needed supplies.
- Is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food preparation and portion control, using standardized recipes. Is responsible for or delegates the responsibility to the other cook for preparation of food for residents, etc.
- Is responsible for the preparation of foods for special functions.
- Is responsible for the preparation of breakfast, dinner or supper as scheduled for securing food and assisting with the preparation of other meals.
- Estimates food requirements for residents and staff as needed for each meal and requisitions needed for supplies.
- Secures all food from storage for preparation and correctly prepares food items according to type of diet.
