Summary:

The Digital Marketing Associate will be an integral part of the marketing team. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day management of auto-marketplace & affiliate partners, email marketing, coordinating the overall marketing calendar, and collaborating with all channels to drive consistent messaging and positioning.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Own the marketing calendar to ensure the correct messaging and campaigns are leveraged across all marketing channels (including .com messaging, email, digital, etc.)

• Grow affiliate and 3rd party auto-marketplaces and increase performance of existing portfolio
• Develop strategy, plans, content, media buys, and ongoing optimizations of a portfolio of digital, auto-marketplace & affiliate partners (i.e., cars.com, Auto Trader, CarGurus etc.)
• Monitor auto-marketplace & affiliate partners activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase performance
• Optimize cost and commission structures
• Lead all Email Marketing efforts:
• Ensure design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly
• Proofreading key messaging in and out of email templates
• Sending graphics requests to designers
• Plan and build out segmentation for each delivery and schedule emails for deployment
• Closely monitor open rates by domain making sure there are no deliverability issues
• Set up A/B tests on subject lines, creatives, offers, etc. and report on results/learnings
• Build email workflows for post purchase customer journeys
• Interpret campaign performance data and turn them into actionable business insights and improvement recommendations.

Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience with email marketing and affiliate partners
• Understanding of KPIs that drive performance
• Experience successfully managing affiliates (content, catalog feed, reporting tools, optimization)
• Knowledge of email and affiliate marketing best practices
• Eager to learn and curious mindset
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Exceptional communication and writing skills
• Basic HTML and SQL experience strongly preferred
• Digital Automotive experience a plus
