DIRECTOR – BEHAVIORAL HEALTH - PSYCHIATRY

Horizon Health, in partnership with FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, is seeking a dynamic Director of Behavioral Health with strong leadership skills to manage the 22 Adult Psychiatric beds and 14-bed inpatient Substance Abuse program in their facility in Pinehurst, NC.

FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital is the flagship hospital for FirstHealth of the Carolinas; and it serves as the referral center for a 15-county region in the Carolinas--the region’s first comprehensive health care network.

Pinehurst is centrally located from the following cities: Greensboro is 1 hour and 16 minutes; Winston Salem is 1 hour and 30 minutes; Raleigh is 1 hour and 20 minutes; Fayetteville is 1 hour and 45 minutes; and Charlotte is a little under 2 hours.

This position is responsible for the overall administration of patient care for the behavioral health services.

Responsibilities include:

• The development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program
• Strategic planning, program administration, and development
• Interfacing with the community and local mental health entities

Requirements:
Must have 3+ years experience managing an acute care inpatient psychiatric program in a hospital setting. Requires a Master's Degree in a related field or a MSN. Clinical background is preferred for this position. Must have acute care inpatient behavioral health experience.
