We are looking for a talented Director, Direct Marketing to join our client for a direct-hire opportunity!
In this role you will be responsible for all direct marketing activities including; developing a strategic plan for the department, generating new business, planning and managing lead generation campaigns in the call center, shows and events.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute strategy to generate additional revenue through database campaigns.
- Create strategy to improve call center KPI's including, but not limited to set rate, demo rate, issue rate, and call center cost burden per issued lead.
- Generate reports of overall weekly performance to present during weekly Marketing meetings.
- Evaluate call center efficiency and conduct audits using call tracking tools, SAP CRM and BCM reporting.
- Identify new opportunities to enhance call center process.
- Refine call center scripting and set appropriate scoring criteria to measure call handling efficiency.
- Create strategy to locate new venues for generating appointments. Secure future event dates and negotiate contracts for new venues. Continually innovate and develop new ideas for venues to generate appointments.
- Create and execute strategy to align with venues and other businesses seeking to promote sustainability to their employees and customers with the focus on generating leads for our products.
- Build and sustain productive relationships with event-related clients, vendors, companies and supporters.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to develop and implement a long-range marketing plan to increase database leads issued as well as shows & events.
- Plan, approve and monitor event budget and revenue.
- Assure that events presence supports the overall Marketing strategy and goals.
- Enhance show properties, updating new technologies and innovation.
- Meet weekly with Director of Marketing to present an accurate week, month to date and year to date composite report, to provide analysis and to discuss strategy and results. Participate in planning and identifying target areas to market.
- Plan monetary and non- monetary incentive plans and programs to stimulate generators and submit to the Director of Marketing for approval.
- Interface with marketing and sales management to ensure quality and quantity of appointments being set meet with the goals of the company.
- Hold direct reports accountable for achieving results through coaching and performance management.
- Consistently provide feedback and direction to direct reports to promote employee development, engagement and business knowledge.
- Actively involved in the recruitment and selection of personnel for direct reporting positions.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure firm, fair and consistent application of Human Resources practices and policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Director
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communication, business management or other related field.
- 8 to 10 years' of relevant experience in a Sales Environment including prior supervisory experience.
- Sales training experience.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), CRM software, call tracking platforms.
- Valid driver's license.
