The Director of Global Operational Performance is responsible for facilitation and support of the development and execution processes and deliverables of the JSCQ leadership team. Supporting and driving the team to build and deliver the Quality strategic plan assuring global alignment at a high-level operational performance. To provide insight to leadership on how strategic initiatives are landing and what business impact are generating. This position is responsible for facilitation and support of key deliverables to the JSCQ leadership team, including working on proactive communication needs. Will also assure that risks and issues are being properly escalated and communicated to the Global Head, JSCQ to ensure visibility. Assure connections among leaders, teams and key stakeholder in the Janssen Supply Chain Quality and Operations organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishment of JSCQ Leadership Team operational cadence of meetings agendas and facilitation
  • Inform timely leadership team about all key & relevant project events impacting team performance or compliance with governance principles
  • Provides expertise and knowledge to Business Partners and the core business sector on quality and compliance processes/procedures. Interprets and applies regulations/ policies to complex issues that drive policy and decision making.
  • Help establish a control environment of the work stream including interfacing with finance, Pharma Quality. Management of SharePoint and Collaborate Sites, including travel requests, PO’s and personnel requests
  • Ensures Quality programs are in place to onboard and train leaders for effective execution
  • Manage and organize communications with JSCQ teams, townhalls and special messages
  • Personnel and organizational management programs, including DEI ensuring standardization of common needs globally across platform
  • Responsible for responding including coordinating JSCQ LT unplanned emergency requests to support projects/programs/products.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical disciple required

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in regulated industry with strong experience in Quality and Compliance
  • Fundamental knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
  • Experience in quality system in Pharmaceuticals, Consumer or Medical Devices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships
  • Proven track record to balance team experience and business goals with a strong understanding of digital/mobile technology & supplier landscape
  • Strong and informative operational skills with the ability to present results to leadership
  • Time management skills – ability to effectively manage within tight time frames
  • Experience with operational in Quality executing and providing recommendations
  • Flexible, with ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities for self while working in a frequently changing environment

Preferred:

  • Expertise in Quality related systems,
  • Senior Leadership support
  • Stakeholder engagement and partnership building to deliver on quality and interpersonal goals
  • Highlight areas of risk and drive to resolution.

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • This position will require up to 10% domestic and international travel
  • Professional proficiency in English
