Our client in Medford, New Jersey is seeking a Director of eCommerce to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE position with a 40 hour work week, and the option for Remote/Hybrid work, once fully trained. The hours are flexible Monday through Friday, between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations, including Warehouse Operations, Business Operations, and Purchasing.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement long-term business plans and strategies that support the company's goals.
• Manage and direct the VP of Purchasing, VP of Warehouse Operations, and VP of Business Operations, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to meet their goals.
• Ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Analyze data and market trends to identify areas for growth and improvement.
• Facilitate the diversification of sales by expanding their presence on other e-commerce platforms, as well as developing their own e-commerce website.
• Collaborate with the VP of Purchasing to increase the quality and quantity of products purchased through online arbitrage channels.
• Work with the VP of Business Operations to enhance the quality and quantity of products purchased through their wholesale business.
• Identify and evaluate new sources of products to expand the company's product portfolio and increase profitability.
• Develop and implement strategies to recover costs associated with customer returns that are unsellable on e-commerce platforms, to mitigate loss and maximize profit.

Skills and Experience:

• E-commerce experience is required
• Proven track record of driving growth and improving efficiency.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in inventory management, supply chain, and logistics is a plus.

Salary:

• Compensation will be a mix of a base compensation and a bonus structure based on company and individual performance.
• Base salary for this position is $60,000. Based on 3 year average of the company’s Net Income, the total compensation would be $168k. If COO is able to achieve 25% growth over 3 year average total comp will be $195k.
• Monthly Bonus: 3% of monthly Net Income. Will be paid in the first paycheck 60 days after the month closes.
• Annual Bonus: 2% of the annual income (income earned by company while COO employed) will set the target bonus. COO will have specific performance based goals that will be evaluated to achieve 100% of the bonus.
