Bri-Bet Security Solutions, one of the Mid Atlantic Region's premier professional providers of full-service security and risk mitigation services, is seeking experienced officers to provide full-time, part-time, and on-call security services for it's expanding cannabis security solutions.

Bri-Bet is searching for personnel who possess specific skill sets to conduct the following duties (but is not limited to):

• Possess a high level of observation
• Conduct surveillance via physical and electronic means
• Conduct interior and exterior roving and foot patrols
• Detect signs of intrusion and criminal activity
• Respond to alarms
• Investigate disturbances (to including loitering)
• Monitor employee, customer and visitor ingress and egress
• Write and submit reports via handwritten and/or electronic submission
• Deter theft
• Deploy NIMS and ICS principals during emergency situations
• Notify emergency services (Fire, Police, EMS) in cases of emergencies
• Answer questions (both by phone and in person)
• Operate detection equipment/devices to screen individuals entering the property
• Inspect employee, customer and visitor belongings as necessary
• Prevent non-approved and prohibited articles from entering restricted areas
• Detain and/or remove violators from premises
• Inspect security systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Provide escort of product, money and/or valuables to prevent theft
• Have a pleasant manner
• All other security-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bri-Bet focuses on providing the highest quality and professional security services to the medical cannabis industry and is looking for armed security officers who:

• Are former law enforcement officers, including retired, with at least two years of law enforcement service (must possess a Maryland Handgun Permit or LEOSA card) or
• Are current or former military personnel, including retired, with at least three years of service (must possess a Maryland Handgun Permit and provide a DD-214 discharge document with discharge status indicated), or
• Are current armed security officers with at least five years of armed security experience (must possess Maryland Security Guard Certification and Maryland Handgun Permit.)

Other Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must not use illegal drugs and must be willing to submit to unscheduled Drug Testing
• Must possess clean background to include a criminal and financial background
• Must be punctual
• Must have excellent inter-personal communications skills
• Must have strong report writing skills
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and possibly be exposed to extreme weather, noise, and other workplace environments
