Dispensary Lead Host/Hostess - Las Vegas Job at deep roots harvest
Overview:
Following policies set forth by the Company in concert with the Dispensary Management Team, provide support in the general operation of the company through assisting in purchasing, ensuring daily operations remain compliant, customer education, inventory management practices, digital asset updates, customer service support, designation of shift assignments, interaction with external vendors, and assistance with Dispensary closing procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the building of purchase orders in Point-of-Sale & Inventory System Control Systems
- Comprehend and maintain compliance in matters related to inventory management as required by the Department of Taxation
- Liaise with external vendors in regard to wholesale purchases and in-store promotions
- Assist in the coordination of daily Dispensary operations including, without limitation; designation of shift assignments, scheduled breaks, and completion of daily maintenance directives
- Support the maintenance of digital and hard copy Dispensary Menu assets
- Demonstrate a thorough comprehension of Cannabis effects, products, and methods of consumption to assist customers in purchasing decisions
- Ensure customer check-in process maintains a steady flow free of operational obstacles
- Assist in the execution of inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations
- Identify and resolve customer service issues
- Assist in the education and training of fellow Dispensary team members on Standard Operating Procedures and Company Policies
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and work areas including the sales floor, inventory vault, and dispensary restrooms
- Ensure all inventory remains properly labelled in compliance with Department of Taxation regulations
- Offer assistance in the expedition of patientand customer orders in support of Dispensary Bud Host(ess)/ Cashiers
- Provide support in Dispensary closing procedures including, without limitation; verification of final drawer counts, final cash drops, and fulfillment of daily cleaning duties
- Other duties as assigned

- Flexible work schedule required; to include covering a vacant shift and/or facility issues in emergency situations as needed.
- Represent the company in a professional manner when communicating or interacting with all local community, state, or federal officials.
- Observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols

- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Previous Customer Service experience preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered, including internal experience.
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, lifting, climbing, and repetitive motions.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
- Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong smelling marijuana odors, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 per hour
