Position Description

The Seasonal Distribution Driver position serves as a face of the company, running distribution routes daily, delivering brochures and travel guides to our customers throughout the Wisconsin Dells area. This position reports to the Distribution Manager and works with other drivers to streamline effective delivery of products at planned stops.

Essential Functions

• Loading and unloading of materials to fulfill and service specified routes.
• Delivery of materials to various locations on route.
• Follow directions, interpret maps and GPS to run distribution routes in sequential order as deemed by Management. Completion of routes should be done in a safe and timely manner.
• Operation and inspection of vehicle taken on route before and after use.
• Communicate with Management and other drivers of new products and services needed.
• Provide feedback and customer service to all clients on route serving as liaison to Vector & Ink.
• Complete log reports and other necessary route information sheets pertaining to distribution.
• Basic warehouse and grounds maintenance when time allows.
• Any other duties as assigned by Management.

Physical Demands

• This position requires good eyesight, hearing, and physical condition.
• Position can be very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing at various times.
• The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Days and hours of work are anticipated to be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. Seasonal hours may differ as work schedules dictate but are flexible with employee needs.

Dress Code and Appearance

• Distribution drivers wear Vector & Ink shirts that are provided by the company.
• We are a business casual workplace, but all employees must maintain a neat and clean appearance that is appropriate for the workplace setting and for the work being performed.
• All staff, regardless of position, is expected to present a professional, businesslike image to clients, visitors, customers, and the public.

Travel

Travel is anticipated for this position to run predetermined routes. Out of town travel is expected with brief stays overnight that are coordinated by the company.

Education and Experience

• Entry Level Position
• High school/GED graduate preferred
• Distribution Laborers should be neat, well spoken, courteous and work well with little supervision
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
