SUMMARY

Visually inspects materials and products for conformance to company and customer specifications by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visually examines material or product for surface defects in print and perforation variation to established company/customer specifications.
• Rejects any product that does not match quality standard.
• Prepare all necessary paperwork including; production reporting, time sheets, material usage, etc, to support the above tasks.
• Perform job duties according to customer and company quality and security specifications.
• Perform tasks safely and in accordance with Ashton Potter Health & Safety, attendance and other company policies and procedures.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Other duties as directed by supervisor.

• Possesses specific vision abilities, including close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus, essential to carry out job responsibilities.
• Basic PC skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE

• High School Education or general education degree (GED)

We require:

• GED or High School Diploma
• Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be a US citizen or permanent resident (minimum of 5 years) to comply with our Federal contract requirements

Nice to have:

• At least 1 year consecutive work experience in a production environment within the last 2 years.
• Picking/Packing experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
