Dog Groomer Job at Dog-a-holick
Dog-a-holick in Westbrook is looking to add another groomer to our fantastic team. You will need at least 1 year experience working in a professional salon. W2 employee, 100% health insurance after 30 day trail, 401 K, pay based on experience, and you get bonuses through out the year (not just at Christmas). Sharpening provided, uniforms, and equipment. 10 day paid vacation and 3 paid sick days. Flexible hours 4 day work week, so no burn out. We do work one Saturday a month. We only are open that one Saturday for our clients that sign up a year in advance, so you know your Saturday schedule a year in advance. We close for one week in August to enjoy summer in Maine. We are a different salon, nothing like anywhere you have ever worked. We do "family fun days" staff outings so you feel like a team. You work for a groomer, so she gets it when a dog poops on you, or rips your arms up from doing nail trims. We are big on continued education, and support the direction you want to go into, in this industry. We have a good reputation in our area. We have a long list of clients waiting to get in. Please stop in with your grooming portfolio, and resume. No Fridays please (that is our crazy day). Please no FB or IG messages (we don't check them). We are looking for groomer who is fun, safe, has fantastic customer service skills, dependable, grooms are on point, and knows breeds, structure, and balance. Who can work in a team environment, as currently we got a great tribe. But can work by yourself. Would be great if your pet CPR & First aid were current. We love having fun at work. If this is you.
