As a Direct Support Professional Float, you will be a part of a team, making a positive difference in the lives of others. As a Direct Support Float, you will have the flexibility to work at different locations throughout the Blaine Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, Spring Lake Park area each day supporting individuals who need assistance to live successfully in their own homes and communities. Each day is different working with individuals who have unique preferences and support needs.

Direct Support Floats have the opportunity to support others based on their personal goals and needs. This may include

• helping others to gain skills, knowledge, and working toward personal goals and achievements through ongoing coaching and role modeling or working toward personal goals and achievements.
• Transportation, personal cares, cooking, cleaning, medication administration, building and maintaining relationships, connecting to their community, support of positive behavior and working through difficult situations in ways that lead to positive outcomes.

As a Direct Support Float, you will need a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background study through DHS

Wage: $18.05

Schedule: part-time and full-time, EOW. Varying schedule of evenings and some days or overnights
