• Sunday 12am-8am *every other weekend
• Saturday 12am-8am *every other weekend

Rate of Pay $24/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Dependable Home Health Care is looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with adequate experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviors to work with one male individual with autism. Staff will be required to perform full personal cares, administer medications, as well as taking the individual out places like the Zoo, Mall of America, and the Arboretum.

This location will require a second interview.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• 2 year's of experience working with intense and frequent behaviors and de-escalation techniques
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements; or must be able to communicate in the language spoken by the individual at a level that meets the performance requirements; whichever is deemed more important by the company.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
