About the Role: We are looking for an EAM Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as a liaison among stakeholders between facilities, maintenance shops and IT to understand the capabilities needed and document requirements related to Enterprise Asset Management and maintenance related areas in a way that can be easily leveraged for digital solution design, enhancement, and operation, and ensures that the solution ultimately meets the defined requirements.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.*
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Project Managers and business partners to define the requirements elicitation and documentation plan for approved projects and enhancements
- Partner with IT and divisional quality reps to ensure collaborative solution quality documentation planning and RACI definition between IT and divisional documentation
- Lead the development of detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and system Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for approved projects and enhancements including: reviewing existing requirements for current applicability; facilitating requirements elicitation sessions with the user community when modifications and enhancements are needed, documenting requirements per documentation plan; developing and documenting use cases, etc. to demonstrate requirements; laying out standard ways to leverage our Infor EAM software and related analytics solutions
- Partner with solution architect/developer to ensure alignment between business requirements and IT solution design concepts, including supporting feasibility studies as appropriate
- Partner with Testing Analysts to ensure test plans are developed and executed in alignment with internal standards and external compliance requirements
- Ensure User Acceptance and Functional Testing is complete and confirm test results meet documented business needs
- Partner with the User Experience and Transition Communities of Practice to ensure training plans and materials support overall business requirements
- Suggest configuration changes where standard Infor EAM software can be used and discuss those with the business and IT
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience with Infor / Hexagon Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software
- Experience working with regulated IT environments and the validation needs
- Knowledge of Business Analysis Methods, Tools and Techniques
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, supporting systems, and documentation required for system validation
- Knowledge of Solution Development Life Cycle processes and methodologies
- Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems, including understanding of how a change to a component affects the system as a whole
- Ability to quickly build trusting relationships and collaborate with both business and technical Associates
- Ability to adjust style based on the needs of the situation
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings/group interactions and negotiate outcomes, including effectively resolving conflict
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field
- Infor EAM and/or ITIL Foundation Certification
- Experience working with HP ALM
- Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed. Locations not eligible for new remote work arrangements include: Alaska and Hawaii (for all roles), and Rhode Island (for wage/hourly roles only).
