In support of our mission, ixlayer is looking for a talented operations and logistics professional to aid our Ecosystem team in building a robust network of vendors and suppliers to deliver diagnostic testing wherever the patient desires. The role requires deep knowledge of the diagnostic testing space, experience in kitting & fulfillment, kit componentry and design, logistics and supply chain optimization. You will lead applicable vendor recruitment, onboarding and manage all aspects of the partner relationship. As the Supply Chain Director, you will work alongside and collaborate directly with Ecosystem leads in the areas of lab operations and clinical services, support Business Development efforts, and liaise with Product and Engineering to advance the ixlayer platform to deliver world-class service to our clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Take ownership and accountability of the Ecosystem Kitting & Fulfillment partners, recruitment and onboarding processes
• Build out an extensive Kitting & Fulfillment pricing model that allows BD teams to propose winning solutions that meet customer requirements while offering best possible value
• Work collaboratively across teams to develop logistical solutions for ensuring that diagnostic kits and medical devices are adequately supplied in the field to meet current and future demand
• Use your experience and thought leadership to develop and manage the ecosystem strategy for the relevant aspects of kitting & fulfillment, logistics and supply chain partners
• Accurately forecast inventory demand and capacity utilization across the chain specifically for non-inventory and indirect purchasing
• Maintain strong partner relationships, track and report on partner performance metrics and host QBRs to review results and address challenges
• Meet established Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Minimum 5 years managing Kitting & Fulfillment, Warehousing and/or Supply Chain Operations
• Minimum 3 years managing projects or large scale product launches
• Minimum 2 years working in the diagnostics laboratory testing industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Executive presence with ability to negotiate pricing and contractual agreements
• Ability to design and implement a strategic plan
• Team oriented with ability to work and collaborate well across multiple teams, organizations and external stakeholders
• Ability to work virtually in a remote, rapid paced startup setting
