EHS Specialist Job at Quality Consulting Group, LLC
QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, a leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industry, is looking for a talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic to join our team. In this role, you’ll work with a highly enthusiastic team, contributing in a world-class manufacturing industry in Puerto Rico & USA.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, administers and implements environmental programs in accordance with governmental requirements.
- Conducts studies and prepares environmental impact reports for new construction projects, plant processes and permit changes.
- Reviews and analyzes environmental documentation issued by the federal EPA, state and local regulatory agencies.
- Evaluates proposed regulations to determine financial, industrial, public and environmental impact. Interacts with federal, state and local regulators to resolve compliance issues; establishes permit requirements and assists in EPA, state and local regulatory audits.
- Represents Company in government and industry rulemaking activities.
- Ensures appropriate corrective action is taken where environmental, health, and safety hazards exist.
- In charge of coordination of industrial hygiene monitoring, revision of environmental permits and training coordination
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science related field.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience to evaluate the applicability of any regulatory or corporate environmental, health, industrial hygiene and safety requirements for new projects (new equipment or equipment relocation).
- Knowledge and experience to implement any requirement, such as but not limited to the revision of OSHA safety programs, coordination of industrial hygiene monitoring, revision of environmental permits, training coordination, and other similar tasks

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Villalba, PR: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
