Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Hours per Week: 40 hours per week

Job Description:

• Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, and electronic and pneumatic tooling.
• Use banding equipment and package assembled product
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Complete tasks as directed by line leaders, supervisors, and manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
• May work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications.
• File, lap, and buff parts to fit, using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.
• Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers.
• Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year of electro-mechanical experience
• Experience with all job duties above
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Basic electrical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with a variety of hand tools
• High School Diploma/GED

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for duration of shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
