Electronics Commodity Manager Job at Overhead Door Corporation
Role and Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains strategic vendor / supplier relationships to drive production cost, cycle time, and quality objectives, for assigned commodities.
- Develops, implements, and maintains a commodity inventory strategy that supports a company's supply chain for assigned commodities.
- Evaluates market conditions in order to maintain inventory levels and control cost for assigned commodities.
- Evaluates and recommends vendors for assigned commodities.
- Ensures corporate supplier diversity goals are met.
- Facilitates proper bidding, quoting, and award processes.
- Makes vendor recommendations.
- Evaluates vendors' operations and products for compliance with company quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in Electronics Commodity Management.
- Aluminum commodity experience a plus.
- Graduate Degree Preferred.
- International Supplier Management preferred.
Education
- Bachelor Degree.
