Science, Engineering, Management Solutions, LLC (Sem-Sol) is a small business located in Albuquerque, NM. The company consists of skilled scientists, engineers and technicians that specialize in directed energy and pulsed power systems.

Sem-Sol is seeking an electronics technician who can perform tasks in a start-up environment. The successful candidate must have strong electrical/mechanical/technical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with supervision, good communication skills, fit well within a team, and be willing to expand into areas without prior experience. The successful candidate must also possess prioritization and multi-tasking skills along with a strong desire to learn testing and working on pulsed power systems.

Duties will include:

· Soldering (through hole and surface mount)

· Chassis wiring for a variety of control enclosures, prototypes, etc.

· Test and troubleshoot various types of circuits

· Construct components, subunits, or simple models and adapts standard equipment. May troubleshoot and correct malfunctions requiring simple solutions

· Follow specific layouts, scientific diagrams, and schematics to construct and package simple devices and subunits of equipment

· Gather and maintain specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performs computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plots data and draws simple curves and graphs

· Must be able to take direction in a positive manner

Required Qualifications:

· Strong Electrical/Mechanical aptitude.

· 3+ years’ experience using a wide array of equipment.

· This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

· Active Security Clearance is required or ability to obtain a security clearance
