Engineer/Scientist 4 Job at Edgewater Technical Associates
Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for Engineer/Scientist 4 opportunities for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Typical Duties: This position will involve hands-on testing, evaluation, debugging, and documentation of Flang, an open source Fortran compiler based on components from the open-source LLVM Compiler Infrastructure (see https://llvm.org). The effort will involve working with applications of importance to LANL, identifying and documenting issues, and providing reproducible artifacts suitable for testing at LANL and as contributions to larger scale test suites used by the LLVM community to provide a continuous integration facility for Flang. Additional scope will include integration of additional tests and mechanisms into the overall LLVM and Flang testing infrastructure.
Area Clearance
This position requires a Q clearance which requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon position, additional authorization to access nuclear weapons information may be required that may or may not be available to dual citizens depending upon the circumstances. Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter.
